2006 Chardonnay Accolades
RESTAURANT WINE: RON WIEGAND FEB 2009
4 STARS: EXCELLENT
Finely flavored, full bodied and Burgundy-like (delicate, complex); supple in texture, long on finish, and subtle in character. It tastes of baked pear, lemon zest, vanilla, roasted nut, and baked bread.
92 POINTS: WINE ENTHUSIAST
A truly succulent, opulent Chardonnay. Tastes quite oaky with char and butterscotch flavors, but not too oaky. The barrel regimen is precisely in keeping with the ripe tropical fruit and honeysuckle flower flavors. Feels rich and dramatic.
